Full time Director of Music and Liturgy to succeed Mr. Daniel Kovacic who has directed and developed a fine music ministry for the past six years leading a 32 member choir, 15 member Scola, 12 Cantors, a 3 octave handbell choir and a 27 member Resurrection Choir. Our goal is to discover the right person who will continue to develop and provide a prayerful, practical, and spiritually developed music program that will aid the worshipper and the whole congregation in their spiritual journey; seeking to experience the Living God in their lives through music, song and prayer. This is to be accomplished by proper preparation, celebration and evaluation.

Responsibilities: 

The Director of Liturgy and Music, with the cooperation of all Parish Ministries will support the Gospel Message and the Parish Mission Statement through music, song, ritual and prayer, thus encouraging the congregation to live it more faithfully in their lives. The Director of Liturgy and Music is also committed to support these same principles by his/her cooperation and support in the other parish ministries.

A snap-shot of responsibilities are: 3 Weekend masses; weddings; funerals; scheduling weekly practices for all choirs, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in music, proficient in organ and piano and have experience directing coral and instrumental ensembles.

Qualifications: 

Must be opened to use all genres of music. Instruments now used: A.E. Sterner 79 rank combination of both pipe and electronic organ, Yamaha Baby Grand and A Yamaha digital keyboard.
